Tom Watson
Tom Watson has 30 years of experience that includes Insurance, IT, Distance Learning and Internet services. Early in his career, he served as EVP Sales at RSE, Inc., one of the early computer timesharing facilities, where he sold application and communication services to major clients like Lockheed and the U.S. Government. He co-founded WatsonStrategic in 1983 and led the development of all of the company's distance learning products.
In 1998, Mr. Watson launched Salescalls.net (later named Skill Development Systems, Inc.), the interactive sales training site for the automobile industry. Unlike most dot coms of the day, he launched Salescalls.net with a business plan that actually included a sustainable revenue model. Many of those original auto dealer clients remain Skill Development clients to this day, where Mr. Watson continues to serve as CEO.
